Those fins and whitewalls are doing funny things to me.

Definitely not a ‘59 Caddy. You can easily tell by the rear fin/ tail lights:
A
nd ‘under-fins’
star
ted in ‘
61:
So you are correct if by ‘60 greater than ‘59 it’s a 60!!!!
As far as the ‘Cuda I personally like the second gen better. I believe this isn’t even a ‘cuda it was still called a B arracuda , but alas I’m not a Mopar- man.

Yes that would still be a Barracuda

my grandad had a gold caddy just like that in the mid 60's, they took me on vacation one year all the way to Cal, Salt Lake city, Yellowstone, saw the G rand C anyon, Pikes Peak and back to FT Worth, rode the whole way on the rear center armrest cause we had a pole with hanging clothes and I looked out through the gap, never felt one bump, the windshield was so far away i could still see everything

Yep! That’s definitely a 60. I love the look of the 60 - classier than the 59 imo.
I’ve always liked all 3 body styles of the 2nd gen Barracuda. I think you’re right that the ‘Cuda was 3rd gen only.

With a four door Cadillac like that, who needs a two door?
